Carbon Offsets

The CNC emphasizes cost-effective investments and operational changes that reduce each winery’s carbon footprint. Wineries take responsibility for those emissions that could not be feasibly reduced by purchasing Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) and carbon offsets. The CNC is conducting an extensive audit to find regional, high quality, and verifiable RECs and carbon offsets.
